• PT is commonly reported in seconds or International Normalized Ratio (INR) units.
• The World Health Organization has adopted INR units as the preferred units for reporting PT.

• The Coagucheck System.

APPROACH:

• The Coagucheck System is a portable system that can perform a prothrombin time (PT) blood test on a fresh whole blood sample from a fingerstick free of anticoagulants.
• Storage on Optical Disk.
• Hard Copy Images.
• Separate waiting room for all lab patients and families.
